Tebtebba Foundation seeks to achieve its mission of building indigenous
peoples' capacities to do advocacy, education, and campaign work in the national
and international arenas, through the following programs:

Research Programme
|
Undertakes researches and analyses on issues affecting indigenous peoples
all over the world. These include issues in the areas of governance,
resource management, conflict resolution, socio-economic services and good
practices.

Publications Programme
|
Publishes analyses and perspectives of indigenous peoples on major issues,
situations and policies which have actual or potential impact on indigenous
peoples. Tebtebba's publications include:

Gender Unit
|
Ensures that indigenous women's perspectives are integrated in
policy-advocacy work at all levels. The thrust of the Gender Unit is
building the capacity of Asian indigenous women to do advocacy work in various
levels. One of its components is networking which focuses on reviving,
expanding and strengthening the Asian Indigenous Women's Network (AIWN)
through education and information work. It publishes the AIWN Newsletter
as a channel for Asian indigenous women's voices, stories and ideas.
To support its work, it also undertakes research on specific issues affecting
indigenous women.

Collects and makes accessible resource materials on indigenous peoples such
as books, documents, monographs, audio-visuals, among
others.
