Our Early Childhood Curriculum

The Sunny Dale Learning Center designed and currently uses an integrated curriculum which organizes developmentally appropriate activities focusing on a central theme. Subject areas include Reading, Math, Language, Science, Social Studies, Music and Movement, and Art.

The goals of our early childhood curriculum are:

to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts.
to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners. We are teaching them how to learn, not just in preschool, but all through their lives.
to give them good habits and attitudes, particularly a positive sense of themselves, which will make a difference throughout their lives.

We offer the following classes:

Toddler (1-2 years old)

Nursery Class (2-3 years old)

Pre-K 1 (3-4 years old)

Pre-K 2 (4-5 years old)

Computer Classes (optional)
