and 2002 reports. The company conducts marketing reports once every
two years, since the management believes that significant market

Company Christmas
party will be on December 23, 2003
St. Francis will hold it's year end christmas party on Teusday,
December 23, 2003. The party will start at 5 p.m. and will be held
at the Bulacao Branch. All employees within the Cebu area are
invited to attend. There will be lots of parlor games, presentations
and giveaways. So don't miss the fun be there !!! (St. Francis in

First Funeral
company to Join Quality circle
St. Francis Memorial Homes has been planning to
join the Quality circle. The
Quality Circles is a national organization of Quality Circle
Practitioners from government, academe, and industry sectors
promoting quality circles philosophy and processes nationwide. A lot
of companies are members of this organization. By joining the
quality circle the company will be challenged to improve it's
products and services more. If the application for quality circle
pushes through this 2004, St. Francis Memorial homes will be the

Opening
of New office - Supplies and records department
The latest member to the St. Francis Memorial Homes family
organizational structure is the supplies and records department.
Dubbed as the "back bone" of the company operations,
supplies and records department provides everything necessary for
each department to function efficiently. The new department is
manned by Ms. Maricar Jario, a former guard, absorbed by the company
because of her good performance and keen eye for detail. The
Supplies and records department or widely known as "SR"
will be rendering important logistic support especially to our other

C.O.O/ H.R gives lecture to USC students on small and medium
business
St. Francis Memorial Homes chief
operations and human resource officer, Zigfred Diaz gave a lecture
last January 27, 2004 to business administration students at the
university of San Carlos. The activity was part of their subject
"small business and business enterprise" wherein
entrepreneurs from different sectors are invited to speak regarding
their line of business. Mr. Diaz gave an overview of the funeral
industry, about the company St. Francis, and emerging trends in the
funeral industry. Various questions were asked by students after the
lecture. One of the most frequently asked subject is about
embalming. Questions asked by the students are answered by him in
