Polyvinyl acetate emulsion resins are water-thinnable
homopolymer or copolymer emulsions which offer the compounder versatile
bases for formulating adhesives for specific applications. The adhesive
property of the emulsion begins with the loss of water through absorption
in the porous substrates or through open time evaporation when bonding
non porous substrates.
