LMIAD Organization and Management

The organizational structure of the Lake Mainit Office Area Development Project is governed by its Board of Director, to be called the "LMIAD BOARD" which operates under the provision of Executive Order No. 363 section 5 which states " In case of IAD projects that can cover more than one province, the RDC concerned shall be responsible for the overall direction supervision of the implementation of such IAD." The LMIAD Board shall constitute from among it members a sub-committee to effect a close direction, coordination and supervision over the projects as well as provide forum for addressing common inter-provincial and inter-agency concern. The Board will set criteria and qualification in the hiring of PMO Project Director. The Board shall have a regular quarterly meeting and special meeting may be called by the chairman.

The Board composition:

    1. RDC Chairman as the LMIAD Board Chairman
    2. The Governors of Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Norte as co-chairman alternating in the absence of the chairman.
    3. One NGO's representative both province, it should come and operate from the LMIAD area.

The function of the LMIAD Board is the policy making body of LMIADP. It coordinates, support and facilitate establish of linkages with government and non-government agencies.

The Projects Management Office (PMO) located in Kitcaharao/Algeria of LMIAD, is a staff organization consisting of five (5) division namely: Administrative, Economic Services, Infrastructure, Social Services, and Institutional Development Division. It will be staffed with competent personnel of varied expertise.

The function of the PMO is the implementing arm of LMIAD Board staffed with competent personnel to plan, review, implement, evaluate and monitors programs and project; the PMO assumes a dual role as an implementative and coordinative office to extend full logistics and technical support to its projects implementors, as well all line agencies.
