the adventures of Tintin

WHO IS TINTIN?

..........................................................................................................................

Ah, yes, that's the question, isn't it?

Not to dwell too much on something that you really shouldn't be worrying too much about, but the "Tintin" of the "Adventures of..." of this site isn't the cowlicked French comic book character who wears breeches and is accompanied by a dog named Snowy. So if you've stumbled upon this site while searching for that Tintin, my apologies. And if you have anything to do with Georges Remi Herge's copyright stuff, please don't sue me.
The person we're concerned about here is writer Kristine D. Fonacier, currently the editor in chief of MTV INK and the music editor of PULP, two fine magazines that have everything to do with music and nothing to do with travel. She loves her job most days, but she also loves to get away from it once in a while. This site is made up of stories from her travels (duh)--some of which were published in other magazines, others just little baby stories that might one day grow up to be real pieces. Sometimes she conducts writing workshops at the Filipinas Heritage Library, including--yes!--travel writing workshops. For inquiries about workshops, email Events@fillib@org.ph
Because living takes a great deal of time, this site may not be updated for a while. Don't panic.
