 MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY

The Confederation for Unity, Recognition and Advancement of Government Employees (COURAGE) extends its warmest salute and solidarity to the striking postal workers belonging to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW).

That the right to strike of public employees is inviolable and could only be achieved through assertion. Systematic restrictions from the State is now becoming more and more pervasive in order for the government to hasten its self-serving interests for the high bureaucrats, politicians big business, and foreign monopoly capitalists.

Such scheme will not materialize without the nod of the multilateral agencies meant to further widen the imperialist globalization of the crisis-stricken world economy.

We extend to our colleagues out there that we are one with you. Tightly linked arms with you in the pursuit of your goals.

Let us, through international solidarity, put an end to the global policies of deregulation, liberalization and privatization meant to create chaos to the lives of the poor people of the world.
