DIALER CONFIGURATION FOR WINDOWS 95 OR HIGHER

1. On the Desktop screen, double-click on "My Computer" icon then double-click on "Control Panel" icon.
2. Once inside, double-click on "Modems" icon then click on "Dialing Properties".
3. Select "Philippines" for the "country/region" and enter your local area code. (See table below)
4. Click "Apply" and then "Ok".
5. Click "Ok" to close "Modems Properties" window.
6. Close "Control Panel" window.
7. Go back to "My Computer" & double-click on "Dial-Up Networking" icon.
8. Inside the "Dial-up Networking" folder, double click on "Make New Connection" icon. Type in the name of your dialer, for example "Webcard".
9. Click "Next", then supply the fields with the following info:

   Telephone No. : (see below)
   Area Code : (see below)
   Country Code : 63
   Access numbers available in Manila and provincial branches.

   Location Manila Cebu Davao Baguio Iloilo Laguna area

10. Click "Next", then click "Finish".
11. Right click on the new Dialer you have created ("Webcard" icon) and choose "Properties".
12. Click "Server Types".
13. Uncheck all boxes except "TCP/IP" and "Enable Software Compression". Click "OK".
14. Right click on the "Webcard" icon and click "Create Shortcut". Let it make the shortcut on the Desktop by clicking "Yes".

TO CONNECT

1. To connect, double click the "Webcard" icon found on your desktop.
2. Supply the following information indicated at the back of your prepaid card.
   Username: <WebCard No.>@webcard.skyinet.net
   Password: <WebCard PIN>
3. Press "Enter".

TCP/IP CONFIGURATION DETAILS
IP Address: Obtain IP Address Automatically (Server Assigned)
DNS: Disable DNS (Server Assigned)
Gateway: Don't Specify

DIALER CONFIGURATION FOR MAC O/S 8 OR HIGHER

1. Locate the 'Assistants' folder on your hard drive, open it, and double-click on the "Internet Setup Assistant icon".
2. On the next window that appears click on "Yes".
3. On the next window that appears click on "Yes".
4. Click on the right arrow button to continue.
5. In the configuration name type "Sky Internet".
6. Select modem for connection type then click on the right arrow button to continue.
7. Click on the vertical arrows if the correct modem and ports are not listed and select from the pull-down menus.
8. Choose the type of dialing your phone line uses, then click on the right arrow button to continue.
9. Enter the local access number to connect to the Internet (e.g. 2560000).
10. Supply the following information indicated at the back of your prepaid card:
    
    Username: <WebCard No.>@webcard.skyinet.net
    
    Password: <WebCard PIN>

    Click on the right arrow button to continue.

    Select "No" for the PPP scripts then click on the right arrow button to continue.

    Select "No" for IP address then click on the right arrow button to continue.

    Leave the Domain Name servers blank and click on the right arrow button to continue.

    Leave email address and password blank, click on the right arrow button to continue.

    Supply the following information for newsgroup host computer "news.skyinet.net" and click right arrow button.

    Select "No" for proxy setting and click right arrow button.

    If you want to connect immediately click "connect when finished" then click on "Go Ahead".
