NETSCAPE COMMUNICATOR
Mail Preferences
To set your name and email address for your mail settings, open the Mail
and Group category and select the Identity option, and fill out the fields with the
appropriate data. You only specify a reply address if you decide to direct your
incoming mails to another email account. You can also specify a signature file which
may contain other personal information which you want to be automatically appended
in each mail that you create. You will have to create this signature file in text
format and specify the complete path and file name in the appropriate field.
Mail Servers
To set the correct mail servers, select the Mail Server option from the Mail
and Group category. Enter the correct mail server settings as shown on right
figure: SMPT - mail.skyinet.net ; POP - pop.skyinet.net. Your mail server user name
will be the login name with out the domain @skyinet.net or your other email account name.
News Server
To set the news server, select the Groups Server option from the Mail and
Groups category and type news.skyinet.net on the discussion groups (news) server field.
You can launch your News Reader by clicking Communicator | Collabra Discussion Groups
from your browser menu.
