Router Configuration Information

In general, the customer should contact their router vendor for help in configuring their router. However, the following general information will be useful:

Encapsulation

• HDLC if you are using a cisco router (or cisco router software)
• PPP if you are using any other kind of router

Routing Protocol

SKY Internet supports static routing.

IP Addresses

The IP addresses for the circuit between the customer's router and SKY Internet's router will be assigned when the Internet order is approved. The subnet mask of the Internet circuit is always 255.255.255.252.
