CHAT CONFIGURATIONS
You must have the CHAT programs that are featured in
this page already installed in your hard disk.
If not, you can click here to download a selection of them now.
Global Chat
After Global Chat is installed, double click on Global Chat icon.
- On the User Settings window, type your nickname, full name and e-mail address
then click Ok.
- On the Select Web Browser window, select the browser you want to use and
find the application file of that web browser then click Ok.
- On the Registration type irc.skyinet.net on the Server and #the_lounge on the
Start in Room then click Sign In.

- On the Chat room type the name of the room you want to join (ex. #the_lounge).

- The Message window will appear and you are now ready to chat.

- Click Help on the menu for more information on the commands.

mIRC
Double click the mIRC icon.
- On mIRC setup window click IRC Servers then click Add.
- Type SKY Internet and fill-up your name, email address, nickname and
alternate nickname then click OK.

- The Add Server window will appear. On the Description type SKY Internet and
on the IRC Server type irc.skyinet.net then click Add.

- On the mIRC channels click Add then type the name of the channel
like #the_lounge and then click Join.

- The Message window will appear and you are now ready to chat.

- Click Help on the menu for more information on the commands.

Pirch32
Double click Pirch32 icon.
- Click IRC on the Menu then select New IRC Server connection.
- On the Server connection window select UNDERNET on the IRC Network type
irc.skyinet.net:6667. Also enter your full name, e-mail address, and the nickname
you want to use.

- Place a check mark on Auto connect then click Connect to start connecting to
the chat server.
- After logging in to the server click Channel to view the available channels.
Double-click the channel you want to join (ex. #the_lounge).

- The Message window will appear and you are now ready to chat.

- Click Help on the menu for more information on the commands.
